Gather Your Items

Collect items that are in good condition and that you no longer need. Common items accepted by Goodwill include clothing (in any condition), shoes, accessories, household goods, small appliances, electronics, furniture, and more.

Get a Receipt

If you are interested in obtaining a tax deduction for your donation, ask for a receipt. Goodwill typically provides receipts that list the items donated, which you can use for tax purposes.

Locate the nearest Goodwill donation center in your area. All of our retail stores accept donations during normal business hours.

Mattresses, Newspaper, Cardboard, Office Paper, Magazines, Aluminum Cans, Wire Hangers, Baby Furniture, Broken Televisions, Items Containing Lead/Mercury, or Recalled Items.
